Last of the Australorps

When we first moved to the farm we got a trio of very handsome chickens that turned out to be Australorps - Australian Orpingtons. They are great layers, large, placid and have beautiful oily blue and green sheens in their dark feathers. After a couple of years one of the hens died and last year the cockerel (Mr JLB Matekoni) also died. So this is the last one of those original chickens.
