Abandonment

Today I was asked to take a group of university students around the regeneration sites of Hartlepool. As I work on these schemes every day of my life I sometimes forget what a huge difference they have made to the town. I never miss a opportunity to promote the town and made sure I put on my best tourist guide voice and pointed out all of the key attractions on the way. I definitely think the students were impressed with the schemes and the amount of new development going on in this time of recession.

I went to my Nana's for tea tonight where we looked at old photographs and ate cottage pie and then called into my sisters before heading home.

I'm definitely ready for a early night with the hubby and a long weekend :)
