...dig a trench and then peer down it puzzling out which duct is for which service and where they all come out?

Andy and Robbie down in the trench are uncovering the gas, electricity and water pipes which husband Nigel (supervising) first uncovered over a year ago for them to be cut off before the bungalow was demolished but now we can have them reconnected - hurrah.

By the way, the battered old card table on the left was for the tea and cake I'd brought up earlier for them and the carpenters working on the garage roof - bread pudding, sticky ginger cake and lemon drizzle.
