Energiser

Found out the batteries were dud on the big torch tonight.
I suppose that's one of life's certainties really.
When you need it, it's not working.

Fortunately I remembered tidying up some D Cells at the weekend.
Easy to re-locate as they were in the man-drawer, obviously.
The thing you never know though is if they work.

Fortunately they did, although not the brightest.
So I suppose the next time I get the torch out, they'll be dud too.

Bit of a coincidence as I was looking for an energiser for a workshop I'm running next week.
