What a beautiiful day!
I am loving this sunny weather! I've even converted the pushchair into a summer pushchair - you can take off the heavy hood and replace it with a lightweight one which also can be pushed forward more to cover the baby, like a sunshade, but better!
We went to the doctors this morning, Storm has been having an allergic reaction to something, but we're not sure what so we're working on a process of elimination. First, we've tried the nappies, she's fine with those. Next on the list is peanut (yeah yeah, we're not meant to give them peanut until they're 5, but Clara managed peanut at this age) I'm sure Storm is fine but just in case, as a precautionary measure as I don't drive, and we're 45 minutes away from A&E, we've been given some anti-histamine. My doctor also advised that instead of feeding her peanut, to apply it to her skin directly so that she just gets a local allergy rather than a full body one IF that's what is causing the problem.
After that, we went to the park for an hour .. they both enjoyed running around and letting off some steam. Storm demonstrated that she can climb the play equipment but doesn't like to go down slides, instead, prefers to climb up them! She got half way up the big kids slide! Yikes!
This picture is of a little roundabout which is on the crossroads in this village, it's small (Manea, Cambridgeshire) This roundabout usually looks so miserable and dreary but today, it looks so pretty in the sunshine. I never noticed the little water pump before. I don't usually take the camera but as I had the pushchair ... Lucky I did as I got some great pictures of the girls at the park too!
I'd also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who has commented on my blips, to those who have subscribed to my journal, your comments mean a lot - thank you from the bottom of my heart. I'm not often able to comment back on pictures with having the little ones around. I could easily spent all day commenting and actually getting nothing done. Thank you again x x
