Old.... and new

Spent the evening with my cousin Bill in his sugar-house. The sap was still running into the late evening and I watched him run from one opening, to a hose, up the ladder to check out the amount of boil, and finally to the filter and into jugs. Not an easy job and most certainly a labor of love.
