Pinkish:)
I found this flower in my garden. This is a kind of camellia which is called camellia japonica form.otome:-) Otome actually means girls in Japanese. It may have been named otome because the flower looked cute compared with other camellias:)
I was searching about Japanese camellia for a while. The history of Japanese camellia seems to go back over 1200 years. Because the way the flower falls was quite similar to decapitation, there's a theory that most of samurai didn't like the flower. The development varieties of Japanese camellias were very active and there are over 2000 species of them at present.
I was surprised to know that:0 Interesting!
