Shadows

I'm inordinately pleased with myself this morning, because together with one of my Research Fellows, we have mastered the art of recording Skype calls, so we can now do our research interviews by Skype. This is really going to improve our efficiency on the project, we hope.

Other than that, we said goodbye to our young visitor first thing this morning, as he left for an early flight across the pond, but we think he may be "sold" on Edinburgh so he'll be back. Just like in the films... We took him for a meal on the Shore last night, and the WoL was looking its tranquil best with great reflections of the street lights, etc. He also appreciated the simple pleasures of single malt at the Malt and Hops. Clearly a young man of discernment.

And the blip? Just a detail of a shadow thrown by a strange attachment to one of the entrance doors here in OC. I've often wondered what it was...
