Spring Snow

Nooooooo....just when I thought I could put away my winter boots and the down coat we get another snowstorm. And it snowed all day. ALL day.

The snow covered my hyacinth sitting on the back porch to keep the scent away from my son.

And the snow covered the pigeon up to its neck as it sat on its nest keeping its egg warm. (Truly, we watched the snow cover the pigeon - by the time it finally took a break in the late afternoon you could only see the top of its head). But I guess it has its own built in down coat.

The boots will stay in the front hall for a little while longer. :(
