Wiesbaden Sunset

With sunsets I always think of this. A tad predictable but still a pretty song.

A strange sort of day best illustrated by a conversation I had in my Integration Course.

I had to read out the sentence "Mein Name ist Peter" (Peter is my real name, I'm pretty confident of how to pronounce it). I pronounce my name Pee-ter, always have. So "Mein Name ist Pee-ter". My tutor jumps in with "Nein - Pay-ter". And I reply with "Nein - Mein Name ist Pee-ter". And she gets quite annoyed....

So, from now on, feel free to pronounce my name however you like and I'll just agree with you....

Came home and decided to relax by watching the highlights of the Cricket World Cup quarter final between the West Indies & Pakistan. Picture in your mind's eye, a Scottish man watching Cricket in Germany with a Hindi commentary (I watch on a channel called Zing). That sort of sums up how messed up my day has been.
