Spring Duck

The last couple of days have seen some real Spring weather. Temperatures have reached double figures (in Celsius) and there has been actual sun. I ventured into Calne via the river/canal route (depressing as it is now because of the noise pollution and deplorable tree-felling - but I'm not going to go on about that again) and had a very interesting long chat with a nature loving couple I met in the woodland above the canal section. The guy showed us a cuckoo feather he'd just spotted on a tree trunk.

There was some golden light falling on the water and I couldn't resist capturing a portion of it in my camera.
