Dredging

Once again in PWC for meetings today, and once again the river Lagan was a hive of dredging activity. It's a complex operation involving the floating platform for the digger and a barge tied up alongside which is filled up by the digger. Then, when it's full the barge is attached to a boat and pushed out to sea.

Further information on the dredging project can be found in the essential publication for the dredging enthusiast, Dredging Today, which sounds remarkably like one of those journals featured in "Have I got news for you?"!

Anyway, another busy day, but at least the broadband seems to be working again.
