Blossom

I photographed this blossom on the walk to work this morning, but the sun wasn't really out and the picture looked flat. The same tree on the way home was bathed in the late afternoon sun and looked a thousand times better.

I think that this is a Blackthorn tree or Prunus spinosa but I'm hoping someone will correct me if I'm wrong.
