Molly's in the Doghouse
... and she knows it.
Yesterday evening, Jess, Molly & Mrs jml went for a walk on the beach. All was well until a young lady came along who was idly throwing stones into the sea as she went. That was Molly away - this was a good game. Not that she wanted of the stones, but it provided an excuse for staying on the beach instead of coming back to the car.
She could not be caught, and the young lady would not stop throwing stones. Jess was safely inside the car, but still Molly would not come. There was a prolonged standoff, with Mrs jml getting more & more upset at Molly's wilfulness.
The problem was eventually solved by Mrs jml hiding herself while someone else called Molly. Her curiosity allowed Molly to come close enough for her to be put on the lead; and the incident was over.
But for the rest of the evening and into this morning, the two of them were not talking to each other. This blip is of Molly in the downstairs bedroom looking sheepish.
I am glad to report, however, that 24 hours later, a truce had been declared. Molly allowed herself to be brushed, anf Mrs jml even said: "All is forgiven."
