Daisies
The Nut correctly identified these as daisies on the way home from swimming; as I took a photo because they made me smile... there was blossom all along the way and he cheered up describing all the various coloured flowers; he didn't like swimming today.. I carefully explained he was going swimming by himself and he disliked the idea a lot, though I'm not sure he understood because he disliked all ideas today* on principle(on account of another molar popping through).
Anyway, he sat on the step and cried and asked for cuddles. The pool was really full to the brim with water and he couldn't touch the bottom like the other kids. Some of the other kids weren't happy even when they could. In the end the swimming teacher called us all back in and said that the kid that needed to move up had to change classes and everyone else could keep going in with a parent. I found out later the kids that are moving up are 4 in summer. The Nut is only just 2, and not ready to move up. I told them that last week.
So that sucked but at least it was scorching hot. Like proper summer Hot.
*Appart from getting the sand pit out. That caused an immediate cessation of honkiness..
