A Biking First

I got up at 5:30 this morning, picked up a mate and drove 2.5 hours to the Poulter Valley in Arthurs Pass National Park for a bike ride. The special thing about this ride is it's the first time a track in a National Park has been opened to mountain biking. This will be a monitored 3 year trial.

We had a fantastic 3 hour ride and I was back in Christchurch by 2:00PM. Then we went to the Lone Star restaurant for dinner because it's my daughter's 6th birthday tomorrow.
