Hey ... a Jay ...

I felt lucky today. Because I 'shot' the bird in my own garden. Although through the window glass and a little cropping afterwards ... but doesn't the bird looks cute?

But you know if you really think that, you'll have to think again ... it can be very mean ...;

... the fieldguide says that the Eurasian Jay eats also eggs and young birds. So I don't know if I'm really happy with such an inhabitant in the neighbourhood.

But I was rewarded (for my preparations:)) with a lovely portrait of a well acting 'innocent chap'!
