Well, we've really enjoyed our day today. Katie woke up singing and playing at 6, and had a nice chill time in her cot until 6.30. We had a play together - including loads of time with her stacking blocks, one of her favourites at the moment. We headed out to tea and toast but she was a bit unimpressed; we set our proper pram up having lent it to friends, put her in to big grins (she loves that she's higher up and faces me in her big pram) to discover it had a flat tyre. So into the stroller she went as I was in a bit of a rush and my favourite sling was in the wash!

Her and emma had a nice play with the dolls and read loads of books during tea and toast. Katie spent ages going through some priddy first word books naming stuff - over and over.

We came home in time for a bit time with Granny and Grandad whilst we sorted out a job we were going to do later on. Katie ate some lunch and had a sleep then we had a walk in absolutely glorious sunshine

After a quick pitstop at morrisons for a few bits, we went to meet Ava and her mummy and the girls had a great play on the balls and slides. Then when they'd finished we walked round the garden centre. Despite this beautiful weather, Katie managed to find three large puddles to splash in, from the plants being watered. It is always so lovely to see how super excited Katie is to see Ava and her mummy. She ran up to them as they arrived and when they were playing, Katie ran up to Ava and gave her a huge random hug. Just because. I love our girlies xxx
