Panorama

Well it was supposed to be that is.

A great day of sunshine. I we really needed it. My energy levels soared all day long. My employees thought me crazy. I was just invigorated by sunlight.

A surprise belated birthday party at work. I'm totally not a fan of birthday parties for me. I never have been, but it's always nice to see people I care about all in one room.

In the evening, I decided I wanted to try my hand at a panoramic image. I have never attempted it before and thought Shore Acres State Park would be perfect. My friend (My Mind's Eye) lives at the park. So we were lucky to visit past the time of closing. The great friend that she is, she offered to watch my little men while I photographed.

I got my tripod all set up and took my first shot, my second shot, then.....dead battery. I'm so silly!! I had completely forgotten to charge my battery. I don't have a spare because I'm cheap. I want to upgrade my camera soon and know that it takes different batteries.

So, here's the first shot...maybe next time it will be a little wider........
