Taking Life As It Comes

My Inner Child

It was a cold and rainy day today. One of those days when the kids have to play indoors. If you walk into my apartment you'll see the pretty spring gel clings on my closet doors. Cute little spring scenes that all children would love to make. When you look for the child who created these wonderous works you will not find them. I have no children at home anymore. The child is a 57 year old lady with a precocious inner child that refuses to be suppressed. She still wants to play. She still wants to walk in the rain, splash in the puddles, and make silly spring scenes on the closet doors. My inner child loves to do crafty things and show them with pride to others; even if they aren't always very good. LOL Maybe some day she will grow up. But I hope not.

You don't stop laughing because you grow old; You grow old because you stop laughing.
