Don't know what happened here, but this storage tank has been in this "blown" state for a few years.
Beautiful and warm day today. Heard my first Chiffchaff of the year. It was singing away as I was cycling to work. Stopped to listen, and confirm I wasn't just hearing things. The snow, that was down to fairly low levels, is vanishing rapidly, and the river levels are up.
Didn't bother taking the cycle lights, thinking,"I'll be back way before dark." After work did some shopping and sauntered back to collect my bike. Only to discover the back tyre was very flat. Big hole in the tube, and damage to the tyre's sidewall. Probably caused by hitting too many pot-holes.
Quickly patched the hole, and made it home just before dark. Most of evening spent swapping tyres from old wheels, and servicing the brakes. The ironing mountain will have to wait another night or two...
