and apparently so do the squirrels... they were climbing the tree and sitting in the uppermost limbs, eating... it took me a moment to figure out what they were doing. and then i thought "if they eat all the little buds, does that mean the tree will be bare all summer long?" well, i hardly doubt it but still... greedy little things...
