Gateway to another millenium

In the center of our city (Groningen), we have this hofje, surrounded by a wall like you can see on the blip. (and yet again a Dutch word which can't be translated ;) )
In there it still looks like at least 100 years ago, with only a few modern modifications like electric lights, modern door-locks, etc.
I had to be there this morning, to bring some paint and stuff and get some coffee ;)
