First of all, let me thank everyone who stopped by with congratulations yesterday. This is a great community and enjoy being part of it.

Last night, while having a quiet read in bed, the cat came pounding up the stairs and jumped on the bed where he deposited a mouse. Unfortunately it wasn't dead. You never saw two people move so fast in your life. Anyway, after a quick trip to the hardware store this morning, I have plans in case he/she had friends.

This first mouse was disposed of by bundling up the duvet and shaking it over the side of the deck off the bedroom.
