fly by

This bird was knocking on the shingles... from inside the house through the window I could see its tail. I grabbed the camera and quietly snuck out the back door. Before I could reach the corner to sneak a shot it went 'whoosh' and landed on this tree. Took several pictures. Focusing is always the hard part. Then the small plane passed by.
