No Fuel Left For The Pilgrims
Afternoon all,
This definitely isn't the blip that i wanted to post today, i got a beautiful one of a sparrow about to take off but i'm going to save it/ or try to sell it to my daughter for her blip for today!!!
I was parking up when i saw this scene on a little patch of shared back gardens of a row of terraces, it just looked like a fun shot of discarded children's toys rolled in a healthy layer of mud and dirt,
but when i looked closer...
Clearly this is a statement, a recognition by even the young and innocent that things are going to get worse before they get better, discarded cars abandoned by those no longer able to afford to run them, a green and pleasant land turning into a dark decaying wasteland, and the huge problems that we're all going to face when the oil runs dry.....
out of the mouths of babes and all that.
Footnote: It has since been pointed out to me by the guv'nor that it is clearly a children's play area, nothing more and i am to stop being a miserable old so and so and to get some work done!
Sorry, my mistake!
