Plaza Fountain

Part of Zihuatanejo?s grand redevelopment plan, which has been going on since we arrived, has been the town square. They have resurfaced the basketball court, built a gazebo, created a feature park, and installed new pavers throughout the centerpiece of town. The final piece was the water feature at the south end of the plaza. It was built, removed, then rebuilt and today we saw it turned on for all to enjoy. While none of the youngsters watching the jets of water shoot into the air were wet when we passed by, we figured it would only be a matter of time before someone like this little girl was soaked to her skin.
