Back on the wheels

Two firsts for the year today and both because the temperature was over 10 degrees all day (and night) and it was dry. I cycled to and from work, and I almost beat the sun setting, but not quite. The hat in the blip is my new cycle helmet. It's a bit of an old lady's hat (as one of my work colleagues described it), but I love it. As I was unlocking my bicycle from the work garage this evening, a female cyclist walked past me then double-backed to question me about my helmet. I like the Mr Benn aspect of the helmet - I can change the hat covering! I wonder which one I'll buy next: hat temptations.

The second first is that it is warm enough for the guinea-pig trio to be outside in the eglu all night. Yay!
