How much?

I bought this lamp for Diane as a present many years ago. It was from the closing down sale of some swanky arty shop and was a real bargain. I think I maybe paid £40 for it, down from about £120. Trouble is, I apparently never stop going on about how expensive it was to Diane. Which is really the done thing with presents! But really..... I got her a £120 pound lamp! That's not something that should ever be forgotten!!
