Churchyard

A lovely walk around Harborne this evening, stopping off here at St Peter's Church for a blip.

This is the back of the church, which dates back to the 1860's, where as the large tower at the front dates back to the 14th century.

I preferred this shot though - it's a little less grand but it has a slightly more intimate feel, and I like how the trees pull it in and give it a closed in, slightly creepy atmosphere. I can just imagine how this shot would be improved with a little rolling fog just blowing in amongst the gravestones and a full moon rising behind the church roof.
