It's spring! Officially even since last night. And it felt like spring, it was warm, warm enough to have lunch outside in the garden and I just had to blip another take of this lovely forsythia from the next door's garden.

Had to take S to the Doctor's for a follow-up appointment which just confirmed that there was nothing that had been wrong in the first place (apart from a normal cold or somesuch), however, due to the fact that they were one doctor short, I had to wait for about an hour which effectively made me lose two hours of my working day. This wouldn't have been too much of a problem had my boss not produced a long list with to-do things on it that looked like it would take us all week to finish. Luckily many items on the list got ticked off all through the afternoon which turned out very productive, partly because of the motivation of the list and maybe also due to the fact that there were little diversions which broke up the tediousness of some of the tasks.

Listenend to a bit of Schubert and watched the feature on "Isherwood and his kind" which reminded me of the time when I acted the part of Erika Mann in a school production of "Mephisto" by Ariane Mnouchkine, it was set in that period. After that play I got very interested in Erika Mann and her contemporaries and it started my interest in studying literature.
