Poi

A little bit of relaxation for #2 Daughter after a day of helping me clear the house of some unwanted stuff. Stuff that you save, thinking the kids will need it when they set up their own home. They don't! They have their own ideas and style. And so they should!

Then there's the stuff that they walk out and leave when they go to uni. You think they'll come back to their own room at home when they graduate. They don't.

Then there's all the 3½" floppies from the days when all we had was an A drive. What a lot of those I've kept! Videos, LPs, etc, etc....

Several trips were made to the recycling centre before we called it a day.

Now the Poi is something Kat has been doing for about 8 years. She met up with other Edinburgh Students on The Meadows, doing juggling and fire-swinging. She loves it and we're lucky enough to have a big enough garden to let her practice when she comes home. AND we can usually find an old shirt and hat for her to borrow while she does it!
