My turn now, please.

It's March again, dear friends, and while I'm still in a heavy battle with nagging frustration and discouragement, it is time once more to turn my attention to greener things. Some of my tropicals (predictably) didn't make it through the Midwestern winter and everyone who did has grown so much in the preceding year (year?! oh, bother) that bigger pots were in order.

I have 3 new plants (featured is my schefflera arboricola), a fresh look to the corner of my world that they brighten, and since the replanting and general day of plant-related TLC, my weary dracaena has a new leaf and my shade-starved bamboo is sprouting quickly.

Now, if plants really do mirror their caretakers, may I please be so unadulteratedly optimistic again?
