Who's that chick?

It's the first day of spring and despite my continued ill health I took an extra large swig of my cough medicine this morning and returned to work.

At lunchtime I spotted a spring chick playing in the sun near my office building.

In order to get the shot I had to be quiet and move very slowly so as not to frighten the little fella away. Despite my best efforts as you can see from the rather startled look on his face I suspect that he saw me just at the last second.
