What a start to Spring!

The weather in North Yorkshire has been glorious today. We went on one of our favourite circular walks beinning here in the village of Kepwick. The moors provide a fabulous backdrop to the farmlands and can be seen from much of the route. Our walks often seem to involve a 'tricky' bit and today it was crossing quite a fast moving stream. The bridge was washed away in the floods of a couple of years ago and hasn't been replaced though it is part of the footpath. A strategically placed branch or two and only slightly wet feet and we were across. Back home the only place to be was the garden so now I have several trays of seeds planted. I love Spring!
