Standing Proud

From what I've been told, a good reason to buy a ruin on Symi, rather than a piece of land, is that with a ruin comes automatic planning permission to build a house of the same dimensions as the original. I kind of hope that no one ever does buy this ruin though because I think it's fabulous exactly as it is, standing in ruins but still proud, against a brilliant blue, morning sky.

I've been planning to Blip this for ages but other, more spontaneous things kept coming up. Now, I'll have to find something else to snap everyday 'just in case'.
