Boston Stump

The first day of our homeward journey, and we took the opportunity to visit the town of Boston in Linclonshire and climb up The Stump.

You can only get as far as the external viewing gallery, about two thirds of the way up (it's actually quite a strenuous climb up and down via two spiral staircases - definitely not for those who find difficulty in steep, twisty confined spaces).

The view of the town from the gallery easily makes up for all that however...
