competitive Po

Po challenges Rumor for this orange thing every time we're out throwing it. Her hearing and her sight are going at almost 12, she can't jump up on grooming tables or beds anymore, but she can still win at this. Rumor has to really outrun her if he wants to get to it (and he'll concede if it looks like it might be a tie). Yesterday she went all out and was limping by evening, too sore to climb up on the sofa. Silly Po. But her Po-ness is why I'd want to get a puppy while she is still in such good shape. She teaches the dogs manners, like why you shouldn't steal an orange thing from Po or stick your nose in another dog's bowl. And also how to tell time, like when to get up and when to go out and when to eat dinner. Our wonderful instructive competitive Po.
