Plums

A bit of a rushed still life today. I'm heaving a bit under the pressure of three jobs. We enjoyed a lovely roast dinner this evening, then kids off to bed nicely, then followed by a mammoth list of things to do...from making hollandaise sauce and ironing table cloths, to putting together wedding photography contracts, to running through work emails to try to get my head back into marketing Leadership Development for the 2 days in the office that start every week. The fact that I LOVE doing all these things seems to give me super human amounts of energy, but I am not sure how much reserves I have got left! It would be nice to just have an evening off and take a peek at everyone's journals and hand out a few favourites...soon I am sure!

PS these plums were flippin gorgeous stewed with raspberries and plonked on top of ice cream with huge white chocolate buttons :)

PPS they do look a bit like snooker balls though...hey does anyone remember that advert for tinned meatballs that had all the different round foods as snooker balls, I used to LOVE that ad!
