No moon here

Dear BBC, please stop putting weather forecasts on your website, they are grossly inaccurate more than three days out and cause photographers to travel for almost five hours to be in a place where there is no light pollution, fantastic scenery on the understanding the sky will be quite clear to capture the 'Super-moon'.

Instead I spent the day walking up to the Old Man of Storr in cold and wet with the back drop of this impressive rock a flat grey sky. This continued well into the evening and it was only by the time the red wine was kicking in did the moon make a brief appearance between two rain clouds.
