A big walk today

Raising money for McMillan Cancer Relief: specifically the Harrogate Unit on behalf of my colleague's wife who has had a tremendous amount of support from them. A straggly band of 9 students, 2 staff and a 7 year old (my 7 year old!) walked from Huddersfield to Holmfirth, via Castle Hill, the site of a 4000 year old Iron Age settlement and the highest point around. An 8 mile walk (which felt further due to the big climb), and this is the view from the hill over towards Slaithwaite and Saddleworth Moor.
