Tourist duty

Today's the day ...................... to see the redpolls

We gave my brother Ron, a nyjer seed bird feeder for a birthday present some time ago. He kept telling us to come and see the redpolls that came to feed - he could guarantee a redpoll blip for me!

And sure enough we came to visit today and there they were on cue - bossy little birds fighting over space on the bar to get at the seed. This one posed beautifully for a shot looking straight at me.

He'd obviously done this sort of thing before ................
