Sunday afternoon

Spring has sprung and I have had an unusually pleasant weekend after what seems to have been a fraught few weeks. I attacked our small garden - interrupted by a pleasant time with my daughter who dropped in to show off her new motorbike - note to self do not worry! I gave the garden what Diarm referred to as a grade 1 but hopefully my pruning will not only have given us space and light but will leave the plants growing!

Today D helped me clear up and take everything to the dump - not his favourite place it having been the scene of an arm breaking experience a few years back! Afterwards we took my father out to see the sea. What a delight to see the sun, the sea and people out happily enjoying themselves. As my father observed the mere sound of the sea is therapeutic.
