Why?

Why would someone abandon their trainers - placed quite neatly by the side of the path - halfway along the Radical Road on Edinburgh's Salisbury Crags.

Just wondering....

Anyway, our young friend has arrived to view the Universities of Edinburgh and St Andrews. We gave him a bit of a tourist tour with the Seat, the Crags and then a quick run down to Portobello to see the sea.

Luckily, it stayed fine - if cloudy.
