Restoration
Lovely though it is to be back home, don't you just hate it when somebody ( no names mentioned) has fiddled with the controls on the television to such an extent that what worked before I left, no longer does and the perpetrator of the crime gives up on remedying things and slopes of to bed?
No amount of beautiful tulips gracing the Dower House to welcome me back allowed me to view a recorded programme of interest after things had been hijacked.
However this morning harmony has been restored, as has the functionality of the said TV, the latter more by luck than good guidance on my part.
This early morning view of Edinburgh and the Forth, with Fife in the background, taken from Braid Hills road on my constitutional bike ride round the marches, serves to remind me that although I saw some majestic views on the train through Yorkshire and Cumbria, I am happy to live in such a beautiful city.
When I took the blip, I imagined I was alone in the scene, but I see now in BIG that there were several others also out on Blackford Hill and Craigmillar Park Golf Course
