Protest

After shooting some photos at a tree-planting work party on Saturday morning, I went to a rally to protest the Republicans attempt to cut funding for the Planned Parenthood organization. After a couple of short speeches the crowd (dressed in pink T-shirts) took their signs and stood on the sidewalks at a busy intersection on Ellis Street. Most of the passing cars honked and waved in support.
