I love ice skating. I love the thrill I get from whizzing around the ice. It puts me in my own little world, the cold, the rushing wind, and me. So when I found out they were bringing an ice rink to campus for two days, I was extremely excited and looking forward to spending today and tomorrow skating around on the rink (I don't have classes on Fridays). After class was over today, I walked over to East Quad to find the ice rink and check it out (along with plans to take pictures of people skating and stuff). To my disappointment, the rink was tiny and empty. It's not even large enough for me to whiz around. I might give it a try tomorrow, but it's definitely not going to give me the thrill it usually does. Le sigh.
