This conglomeration of rooflines, gables and chimneys above West Street always appeals to me, especially as there is, more often than not, a gull perched on the chimney pots. There are two jackdaws visible as well, and as I watched, one flew across the road and disappeared into the chimney on the opposite roof.

It was a fine day in West Wales.
