Where is the standard?

In order to figure out the real structure of one wastewater treatment plant, I went to Strandhill to investigate and take some sludge samples.

Standing in front of the clarifier tank (shown in the picture), staring at a few large particles in it, I could not help to think of the function of this tank. How come the water in the clarifier is not clear? For the health assurance and risk assessment, I will keep fighting agianst some drawbacks of the existed treatmet process.

Nice weather today. No rain(raining is nomal irish weather), have sufficient sunlight (nomally isindirect sunshine). and dotted clouds decorated in the sky. Lovely day for sampling, I love my work.
