Dwarwick Pier, Caithness
Saturday - housework, shopping, visiting with friends, another day has flown past. Disappointingly cold and overcast most of the day with poor light conditions. Went over to Dwarwick pier on the far side of Dunnet beach for a walk and hopefully a blip. Last summer I saw a basking shark not far out from the pier slowly making it's way along the coast. Too early in the year to see them and all the little boats were tied up securely, many with their winter tarpaulins over them.
This little blue boat was perched at the top of the slipway so maybe someone has taken it out for a spin in the bay already. Hoping the weather gets warmer again soon!
I enjoyed my red balloon day yesterday - thanks for all your comments and support!
